The Whitcomb High School Wildcats are a part of the San Gabriel Valley Continuation League (SGVCL). The sports program is designed to keep kids active and involved in group sports while earning credits along the way. Students can earn up to 2.5 credits per sport but must maintain a 2.0 GPA and be in good standing at the school in order to participate. The league consists of 9 local Continuation High Schools that are spread out throughout the San Gabriel Valley. The schools involved in the league range from San Dimas to the east to Alhambra in the west, with all other schools in between. The teams participate in 4 sports; Flag Football, Basketball, Softball and Soccer. Participating in sports has helped Whitcomb build a great relationship between alternative schools. The SGVCL moto is Effort, Honor and Sportsmanship.
